I don't see a black box in the sig, but keeping a stock 06 below 1250° towing up a grade seems nearly impossible based on what I have seen the 04. 5-07 motor do with a load. 3K rpms is a lot, and beyond the OEM defuel point, but still lower than redline so that shouldn't have effected anything.
Does it follow rpms, or speed?
Nothing really abnormal on the UOA for a relatively low mileage truck. What is the unit of measure for soot?
Not saying all power mods are bad, in fact after looking at an OEM timing MAP I don't see how one could want to leave their 04. 5-07 stock, it's nasty and 100% based on emissions.
A video might help too.
I had a knock a couple years back, really could only hear it at idle and just above but was rpm dependent. Turned out my motor doesn't like Cetane boost, stopped the boost the knock has been gone since.
