Trying figure out my cab water leak that soaks the drivers side floor. Does anyone know if the roof clearence lights are gasketed? I plan on resealing all roof penetrations including the 3rd brake light.

I just want a dry cab.

Mine was a roof magnet antenna that I routed the cable through the rear window, I sealed the area around the cable with clear silicone and no more water

I can feel your pain with the factory water leak option... I once owned an '01 QC 4x4 (stolen by my EX wife and sold to her uncle for 1/2 what I paid#@$%!) that leaked from the door trim. I replaced the trim and solved the leak and also the wind noise.

The cab light do have thin neoprene gaskets which shrink over time and are a common source for cab water leaks. The last time I checked, replacement gaskets weren't available from Dodge, so you'd have to make your own.

I just discovered mine came with the factory water leak option as well (in my case - 3rd brake light). Dodge does not sell a replacement gasket for the 3rd brake light either, so I'm currently looking for material to make my own. I've searched a little for aftermarket gasket makers, but no luck so far. I hope you find your leak soon.

I have a new NOS 3rd light gasket i bought years ago, it is a hokey piece of foam... ..... the best fix guys is pull the light clean the area well to nice clean paint and the light as well and use "3m buytel"... . you have to get it from a autobody supply shop usually... . its that blackish gray stuff that at one time went around talights and such on cars to seal out water... . I happened to have a old box of it, resealed my light works like a charm and I can still pry it open and change the bulb if i need to.

My truck has started leaking at the top right corner of the windshield. Could not find leak, but after opening the glove box one day paperwork soaking wet I started pouring water from the bottom of the windshield and when I was about 2 inches from the top presto there's the leak. Good luck.

Just use a tube of clear silicon sealant - - - I like Permatex buy at any auto parts store and put a gob completely around
the third brake light, especially the top - - - won't show unless you get up there and look real close- - - it will end the problem - - - I put new bulbs in before I did it to give me more time w/o having to change bulbs
