:-laf:-laf Nick you make my day reading your stuff
NO!! its not a Bull Wagon at least I dont think so :-laf
The muff is a small Donaldson its only 2ft long all the pipes are 5in I thought about 6in but think it would look funny (to big for the truck) Out of the muff it goes into some more 5in and into a Y out in front of the sleeper and behind the cab doors (duals) chrome elbows bring them up from under the truck body between the Peterbilt twin 90gal fuel tanks and dual step battery boxes with chrome stack mounts on the cab to hold the 5in stacks in place no heat shields on the stacks they are 98in long angle cut to get them up and away from smoking out the animals in the trailer.
Its not that loud from inside the cab! I thought it might be cause of the short muff but I guess that because its not a straight thru muff its not. Where we live its pretty quiet in the AM BIL lives next door (you cant see his place from ours) but I pulled it out on the Hwy and put my foot in it he was out having coffee on his deck, he said he could hear me and thought that who ever it was could really shift gears (its an automatic now) he said it wasn't to loud but he could definitely tell it was a truck!!! BIGGER THAN WAHT IT IS :-laf I turned the corner up his drive and pulled up in front of his house he stood there shaking his head your FRIGGING NUTS!!! BIG :-laf I think it will be a little deeper when I get a load on the motor to make it really work at the pull but will have to wait to see, if it is I have room under the truck to add a longer muff and just add the Y out the end of the muff instead of the 5in pipe and then the Y I hope its not a deep drone I like to talk to the wife and hear my music without all the base NOT ON THE MUSIC, AND OUT THE STACKS.
