NV271 Transfer case leak

I've got a leak between the T/C and my NV5600 transmission where they bolt up.



Is there a replaceable seal on the T/C? Or is it a seal on the output side of the transmission? Part #'s??

What color is the leaking fluid? Red is transfer case, motor oil color is transmission.

Trans has a seal and the t case has a seal. Pull the t case I would replace both while you are there

Seal drivers are always going to make it easier but not 100% neccessary

I have a good set of seal driver so that's good.

I may end up letting my local diesel mechanic do the clutch job. I found the receipt for the last time he did it and it was only a few dollars for labor and the rest was parts from the ******* that I bought myself.

I haven't been able to find a transmission jack to borrow or rent locally so I'll have to factor in that cost. That's why I may be better off letting the guy who has a lift, transmission jack etc to do it.

As much as I hate paying for work I can do, I might be money ahead.
