I am waist deep (literally) in my next Ford Powerstroke job. This time it's to replace a power steering pump in a '11 6.7 F550. I didn't Dx it, but it has low output at idle (no steer assist). I am only doing a job.
OK, this current style F went to a grille in place nose like Dodge, and I can see why. The entire "cooling module" must come out to do any front engine work. There is a split cooling system with two belt driven pumps, and two separate cooling radiators, tanks etc. Once the rad pack was out, it really wasn't TOO bad. Here's a picture for now. Notice the Ford 6.7 is a reverse flow engine. Dig the EGR plumbing on the front of the right head.
