Will the Banks dual air intake for the 12 valve's fit the 24 valve's? And if so, where could I find straight pieces of fuel line tubing for the replacement/rerouting of the lines? Thanks ahead to anyone with input on my curious post.

I haven't heard of anyone doing it and it would be pretty tough rerouting injector lines. Pretty sure no one makes a custom set of lines to accommodate it. The lines are really stacked up toward the back of the engine where the rearward plenum of the Twin Ram would enter. Another option, which I did to my '98.5 which seemed to help, is the kit from Pusher Intakes where it pipes air right at cylinder #6. There's some things to be aware of with this kit though, the piping piece that you pound into the rear of the head kind of interferes a bit with the fuel return line, it also gets in tight with the MAP sensor, and if you don't cut the supplied pipe a bit shorter then the elbow leading to it will hit the firewall and make all kinds of irritating buzzy noises.

Would it really be that tough rerouting injector lines? I've never done that before so I'm curious.

I know that because of the air intake cylinders 4, 5 and 6 don't get as much air as they should by design. But wouldn't it be beneficial to evenly distribute air to those cylinders in some manner rather than just cylinder 6?

If you want the best air intake possible shave the cast in intake side of the head and install a side mount manifold. Not worth the money on a stock truck

It can be done, but with considerable effort. It's that you'll have to do some pretty significant rerouting, almost all the lines. The other challenge is I think the back plenum enters very close to where one of the lines enters the head and may be near impossible to clear it. Believe me I've had interest in a Twin Ram as well but after looking it over fairly closely I decided it was a lot more than I wanted to tackle.

Sure it's not as good as a Twin Ram but certainly it improves the situation, it won't just supply #6 but I think it has to benefit the rear 2-3 cylinders to some degree. Number 6 needs the most help so if you're going to improve air supply that's the cylinder to shoot for. Second to that is cylinder #1.
