Anti spin differential

Hi don't know much about ram anti spin differential. I had the g80 in my duramax and new how it works anybody no how it works does it lock up fast or what, who makes it, can't find much info on it. Thanks guys

I've not been impressed with the behavior of the American axle on ice and snow compared to the Dana limited slips of the past. The trade off on the newer design is no maintenance and no friction modifier when changing lube.

Just google for "Torsen" Differential. Then you he hours to read about this type of differential.
I think it's a pretty cool design for a daily driver.

Ozy's right with one note. The AAM is much less aggressive. The Torsen diff has a 3-1 bias while the AAM is 2-1. You'll be a 1 wheel wonder in more situations with the factory piece than if our trucks actually had a Torsen. I will admit my 15 3500 seems to work better than my 04 2500.

That's correct.....also the first year of the HPCR in a RAM HD.
