Fuses for our new trucks,,,,

Well I got the 20 amp fuse in from my parts department tonight. The other one is not in yet. Anyway part number 68202896AA is a 20 amp M case fuse. It has the LF for Little Fuse brand name right on the plastic. So I paid $4 for a fuse that can be had from The Electric Depot for $3.98 for a pack of 5.

Kirwin - It looks like that LF (Little Fuse) is a touch longer across the top than the Jcase or OEM fuse. Have you test fit it to see if there is a clearance issue in the slot?

Does Geno's have a kit available yet? If so I need to order it. I just blew my 20 amp trailer light fuse and I can't find any locally at my parts store. I guess I need to call the dealer and pray they have it. Leaving today on a trip with the camper and boat.

As well as Electrical Depot that has the MCASE fuses (Not JCASE which look the same). Shipping is kind of steep for 5 packs of fuses, but they have a ton of other electrical supplies that justify the shipping a little better.

of fuses by size and type for our trucks? I see Geno's Garage has not come up with a kit yet. I just got caught with a blown
trailer fuse on a long trip. Could only find mini's at NAPA but none of the proprietary ones there or at the local dealer!! Must
have an assortment in the truck at all times!! The Bussmann kits seem to have a lot of sizes / types that we don't need, and
are missing a lot that we do need.

So after hours of digging, I came up with a list of fuse types that are in my 2014. I ordered spares of every type so that
I'll never get stranded again along the side of the road with no trailer lights. These are all Bussmann fuses:

FMM-20
FMM-30
FMX-20LP
FMX-30LP
FMX-40LP
FMX-60LP

I also got 2 assortments of the Super Mini Blade Fuses: Bussmann BP/ATR-A7-RPP

YW John: The only thing I forgot to add was I'd get multiples of everything since nobody stocks these. When
my trailer lights took out the fuse, I hit NAPA, Advance Auto and two Ram Dealers looking for a FMM-20. I was 8 hrs
into a road trip and was faced with running after dark with no running lights on my trailer. I swapped a fuse from
another ckt and got them working, but it would have been easier to just replace the blown fuse after I fixed the
trailer wiring. I'd surely get multiple FMM-20's for the trailer light ckt.

I just ran all the fuses five on Amazon. It told me none would fit my 2015 Ram. interesting. Wonder what Genos os coming up with ? Maybe I'll get ambitious and look in my fuse boxes.

If I'm not mistaken, the kit really only has 11 items you need (assuming you really want this many):

3 each FMX-20, 30, 40
2 each FMX-60​

You can currently buy all of those on eBay for $3.50 each delivered, which comes to only $38.50.

But if you have other vehicles in your fleet which could benefit from the other fuses, then the math could definitely work out in your favor.
