It's decent stuff, I used it on the underside of my truck for two winters. If you have a lift its doable but still quite the project to do thoroughly. I wouldn't even want to try it without a lift.

Then I came across a KROWN dealer fairly local to me. They charge about $130 for a full size truck, and this includes drilling small holes in the pinch joints in your doors and tailgate and spraying down inside the pinch joints. They do a very thorough job, IMO the KROWN does a better job drawing up into the steel and lasts longer than the Fluid Film.

I have used it on all my snow equipment for years, spray it on in the spring and it stays on till the following winter. Works well on the salt spreaders and keeps the conveyor chains from freezing up from rust. Its environmentally safe which is a plus. It can be power washed of so you may have to reapply to any areas on your truck that a car wash may remove, as it never really dries.

Yeah, I use the FF Products since years, very great products and easy to handle.
You can spray them right over the rust, only a pressure wash is needed before.
The FF Lq A will penetrate the rust so it will fall off by itself after a couple of months, then spray again with FF NAS as a cover.
Best product i've ever used, highly recommended!
Ask Mike Wilson, he has seen my truck and i life in the european rustbelt.

When Ive used it on undercarriages Ill buy a gallon then use an automotive paint sprayer to apply it, works well and pretty cheap, even a Harbor Freight spray gun works.

For those interested in the spray can and don't want to order on the internet, Deere dealers usually carry it and I have noticed recently that it is on the shelf at Lowe's.

Absolutely not!

WD40 is a mixture of around 75% of lighter fluid and 25% of gun oil - it goes with the wind within a week, even washes away any other rust protection, dont do that.
