You need to loosen the bolts on the base and lift the seat back. There is a mod you can do to release the seat back and also use the available space behind.
The way I understand it is you put a 5/8" spacer under the seat brackets, raise the seat half way and then pull back on the seat back.

Look at the pics in the link in post #5 above....Spacing the seat is the same as cutting off the material that "hooks" it to the back of the cab.I watched the video but I don't see how spacing the seat up 5/8 inch will allow the seat back to pull forward. I must be missing something. Also does anyone know what the weight rating is on the fold down (flat surface panels with legs) things that give you a flat floor for cargo?

IMO---I'd rather cut off the material as one would then lose 5/8" of headroom, not counting a potentially "looser" attaching point to the cab floor.
