On my 11 HO Dually I had the RAM dealer in Pahrump re align my truck. I showed the Service Mgr my tires and asked for it to be aligned he said they don't cover alignment under warranty. I insisted he call, he did and they authorized the alignment. This was done around 5K. When back in WA stopped by my alignment guy and he said the toe was too far in. I explained they had aligned it in Pahrump. So he put my truck on the rack, guess what they had not touched the front end at all! My guy said it was within "SPEC" at 1/4" toe. He set the toe to 1/32" and I rotated thew tires side to side and made it to 25K when the POS Generals had a big tread separation. Threw on the MS2's kept at 80psi and had great tread wear at 40K when I traded the truck.

Guy said the truck does not fit on their alignment lift. "Honestly (he said) we only have one lift the truck will fit on and it barely fits." Is this my problem? If you sell the trucks you should be able to service them, IMO. Maybe I'm off mark here but doubt it.

So I'm stuck with either finding another dealer or getting an alignment done by a 3rd party on my dime plus the cost of 2 new tires at 21k miles. I feel they should be prorated as their misaligned truck caused the wear....not me.

I not pressed with most of the tires that are on the duallies from the factory. Most are worn out by 25k. I am not seeing them out of spec in the alignment dept but VERY few people rotate Dually s

That is true my POS Generals went 25K were 2/3 worn had a big front tire tread separation. Installed MS2's went 40K and were about 1/3-1/2 worn.

Bought a set of MS2's just before ordered 15 came in installed them at 200 miles sold the NEXEN's for $650. Happy camper except for the front tire wear.

Does anyone know if the MS2 is available in the same diameter but with wider treat and higher load rating? I think there trucks should have a beefier tire on the front.

Got a set of Goodyear Wrangler SR-A. Front alignment was off (left 0.17 and right 0.04). No more drift to the right and tracks straight. Since I haven't hit anything or offroad with this truck I can't imagine normal wear and tear would cause the alignment to get so far off in 21k miles. My guess it rolled out of the factory this way as it always pulled a little to the right from day one, but got more noticeable as tires worn.

What ****** me off was the dealer couldn't do the alignment and I wasn't about to drive 30 miles + to another dealer, stay there all day, etc. I was better off sucking up the $99 alignment fee from a local shop I trust.

I don't understand how a dealer can sell these trucks and not have the tools to repair/service them. Sad.....

Just a quick update.. I have an appointment on Thursday to have the dealer fix the alignment on this truck and to check out the dead pedal as I experienced that yesterday for the first time... I'll let yall know how that goes. Dealer was very on top of the tire wear issue... to the point I got the impression they had seen it quite a bit and knew what to do to fix it.
