The 4 wire fan connecter pictured is right below the CP-3 on the front of the engine

The aftermarket thing is a issue, but not causing your problem- yet. Bobs contribution above is pure gold to you now. Yes you need 12 key on at pin 6. That is the circuit on the far left in the diagram. I start by checking the connectors C 112 and C130. Looks like you have an open. I understand that you do have 12vdc at the fuse- yes?
Those are circuits, C112, C130. The Drive-Fan-Connector is under the CP-3 on the front of the engine. Have to have a connector to change out the fan
