\What trends, if any, did you see beginning with the 2007.5 6.7L's and the plastic impellers???
To add to the mix......The MOPAR part number for a 2013 & up Cummins water pump is 68210961AA.So then I went back on rock looking for something else, and I decide to check if my Bosch pump was still there, and it's not.
I did check applications for giggles, and it seems that pumps changed in 2009. I wonder what the difference is? It seems like 09 down and 10 up.
If I had a dual Radiator truck I would carry an upper radiator hoseand a w/pump wouldn't be a bad idea but thenwarranty on the pump may be used up before it ever gets installedWondering if I should buy a spare and carry it with me next time I take a trip more than 500 miles from home? If I do that, it probably won't break. BUT! Does the oxygen in the air weaken the seals?

Dual Radiator? What? That sounds too Fordish. Say it ain't so!
The hoses will leak at the Y plastic fitting. The replcement hose goes from the t/stat,includes the y and goes to the main radiatorI do have a dual radiator truck. Are they more prone to failure?
The upper radiator hose goes to both, i assume.. including the T?
ALL water pumps for the 5.9 and 6.7's are made in China. If someone knows of one actually Made in USA please let me know.

Yeah.
It is more of a Y, than a T. Thanks for the info. I'm going to need to figure out how the Y connects to the upper hose of the bottom radiator. Good to know the Tstat is i. The same place as all gassers i've worked on. This is my first diesel.

Part # for the upper hose with y is 68166469AC.
I've de decided to carry one with me.
Had my upper hose Y replaced this summer at 87,000 KM's.If I had a dual Radiator truck I would carry an upper radiator hoseand a w/pump wouldn't be a bad idea but thenwarranty on the pump may be used up before it ever gets installed
