Hi all! * Trading out my 1500 ED with 4-corner air (love that) and looking at two 2500 Limiteds, one with rear air and one without. * *I run unladen 90% of the time and was wondering if the ride is significantly improved with this option? * Glad you got it? * I do like the fact that the truck looks better when I selected alt ride and everything was nice and level.

Thanks in advance!!

PS: I hated the stock transforce tires on my last 2500....Will the dealer give me credit on them to swap for Michelins before delivery??

Give me the dealers name and number, and I will call them and ask for you? Guess you do not have a phone? SNOKING

I was asking to see if anyone had been successful in that regard before I asked the dealer.

Isn't there blue laws in your state that specifically preclude you being a smart *** before 12 noon on Sundays?

My dealer would swap tires for me, *I had to add cash though to get Goodyears. *I love the air on my 3500.

Expect it from a couple of these guys, its a little slow there in Arizona this time of year, nothing better to do. *

I agree the OEM Transforce are not a very good tire IMO. Mine are just about done at 27K, will probably change them out at 30K

no doubt about that I've seen them done anywhere between 15-30k really got tired of telling guys they needed tires even before there basic warranty was up

A little disappointed, you would think they would go at least 40k

Probably give the Cooper AT3 a shot heard good things about them

Love the rear air suspension!

I don't tow and have never changed ride height, but it rides great.

At 30k My tires are in fine shape as well, but will probably switch to Michelins before next winter.

The blue law thing only applies to daylight savings time which is next Sunday.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm going for it....I will keep a close eye out next Sunday!*:-laf

I see that you just joined, welcome aboard!

This site has tons of info and great member feedback, many here would recommend Chrysler's Max Care warranty on your new purchase.

My rear air is surviving some rough abuse and even worked fine at -50 this winter. It does seem to ride a smidgeon better than my coil spring 2014 2500. *

I had a '14 with coil springs, but traded it for an air bag '17 Laramie 4x4. The '17 rides quite a bit better than the 14 did with the coils, plus it sits level, no need to raise the front end 2". And, my '14 was one of those with a non-cureable shake/vibration, and I get none of that with the '17.
