Sir, I'm by no means calling you a liar. We've just never heard of pre 2013 model year using DEF, other than the 2011 CC. Like I said, this thread is getting interesting.

Do you still have the VIN of that '09???

And no, we are not calling you a liar as Sleeper1 stated above. Just seriously curious as to what you had......we all think that we know these trucks in and out but sometimes there are exceptions.......

What's the difference?

I am pretty sure I have seen any variation ever built and 2009 were not built with def.If it was a test vehicle perhaps.Last 8 0f the vin?

Nothing out of the ordinary in the build codes,no dealer added or special equip added. It had the J35 recall performed-that rules out def

OK I'm done with this thread. I didn't imagine putting Def in it. I even checked with, "She who remembers all" and she remembers the stops at the DEF pump and the "Low Def" light that we had to get the book out to see what it was. So I don't know what to tell you.

Was the "Low Def" light part of the cluster?? In other words grouped with the other factory idiot lights or was it off by itself??

Low washer light, thats ok I dont care what you added to get the light out.I once had a customer who added washer fluid to his p/s resevoir.Made for a nice strawberry shake and some loud a## power steering.
