VGT Boost Question

I would like to get some input on the VGT Turbo. What amount of boost CTD owners are producing, with and without a programmer. I appreciate any response.

My 16 has got up into the mid to upper 20s 25-28 psi I believe. It bone stock rhough

Thanks for the input. My goal is to find out what a safe "Max Boost" would be with the VGT, without destroying the Turbo.

The turbo scale on the EVIC looks like it goes to 35 psi. But I think 27-28 psi is all I have been able to wind it up to (under load in mountains). I would also be careful with EGT's

I have a 16 with the AISIN. Bone stock, well less a K&N replacement filter and tube. It's touched 32psi.*

If you want your engine to last a long time, get rid of that K&N filter and use the stock one. They let way too much dirt into your engine!
