Hi All,
I hope that someone may know a part # for the grease needle needed to lube the front drive shaft?
Thank you. Jason

I use this one: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FMO6XU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
That said, it has come apart and has been repaired a couple of times, so while it works, it's not the best quality, but for $3 I guess almost expendable.

That is not the right tool for the job.

You need a small point to fit in the cup, NOT a a needle.

I made up this quite a few years back.

Here is one on Amazon.

Needle adapters are for going thru rubber boots on things like ball joints and Ti-rod ends. They will push the check ball in the cup in, however the grease will just come back out around the needle and not grease the bearings. The pointed end adapter seats in the cup and forces grease into the bearings pass the spring loaded check ball. SnoKing

Good point, but it does work, wasteful on grease as not all grease went in, but I did get new grease all the way through that drive line u-joint coupling. ... I agree the other point would likely work far better and I'm going to try one like that next time.

Again, that is the wrong tool for the front drive line. The join has a cup style grease fitting with a spring loaded check ball. I needle adapter is not the right tool to push grease into the joint. Snoking

This one is the one I have settled on.

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/252930226960

My frame has a cross member in the way, but this item never fails to grease my front drive shaft.

2013 2500 got the old frame with a pain in the a $$ cross member where the front drive shaft grease point is.

That is also an "injector" needle. I have found they work, but I do think the better tool is going to be the "needle nozzle" point. The one I linked should be able to replace the injector end on your hose assembly. I will be putting mine on a flexible hose as well, there is no easy access to this fitting, hose definitely helps.
