I use this one: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FMO6XU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
That said, it has come apart and has been repaired a couple of times, so while it works, it's not the best quality, but for $3 I guess almost expendable.

That is not the right tool for the job. You need a small point to fit in the cup. I made up this quite a few years back.

A better choice might be one of these:

OR https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product...title_dp_11?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A10CRMO6AB7BJN
This one looks very much like your tool: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NCRWGBZ?tag=tdr1-20
This one is the one I have settled on.
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/252930226960
My frame has a cross member in the way, but this item never fails to grease my front drive shaft.
2013 2500 got the old frame with a pain in the a $$ cross member where the front drive shaft grease point is.
