Try www.onboardair.com The guy who owns the place, Brad Kilby is a really nice guy and has excellent prices. He sells different size tanks that are DOT approved. A 2. 5 gal tank runs 60 clams. They also sell smaller ones.
Look at the adds in Sport Truck magazine theres all sizes to choose from, I bought a 3 gallon tank and paid $40. 00. It fit perfect in front of the right rear tire hanging from the bottom of the bed angle that sits on the frame.
they have a real nice size 4. 5 gallon tank with nice mounting brackets. tank is rated for 145psi.
they also have a smaller 2 gallon tank. same price
I have the 4 gallon, havent mounted it yet. But spent a bunch of time figuring where to put it. What I found is that the 4 gallon fits under the bed, outside the frame rail under the bed skirt. . in front of the tire well, just behind the cab. Just need to make a pair a mounts that goe between the two bed mounts.
This way it's up, protected and can still reach under to drain the tank easily. There are 4 ports on the 4 gallon tank. One on each end. Two on the center of the length of the tank, about 140deg from each other.
