I think you will have a very long wait,your profile says you have a 2016.the 2016 does not use o2 sensors as I recall

I can see why you don't have confidence in them. Did they tell you what codes they were getting? Maybe it was a different sensor?

Wow ,he put the computer on it ,read the code (I don't know what code number was)
Said he would order the sensor

A friend of mine with a checked it out with his reader. cleared the codes and thinks it's a dirty sensor
We'll be pulling tomorrow,I feel better that the light is off until another alarm is shown

Any suggestions on my purchasing a reader for the future?

Was it one of the NOX sensors? Code U059E or U059F?

I've been getting U509F occasionally. I clear it, then it comes back sometimes a week or two or a couple months later. I just keep forgetting to replace the module mentioned in the video...except mine is the rear, not the front sensor as in the video.

I had that code come up a year ago cleared it and it has not returned as yet. I bought an Accutron a model that was about a hundred dollars. Saved me once with a stupid DEF code warning that it was going to shut down . Code cleared problem gone. Never leave home without one .

Just a word of caution, if you truly do get a hard code that starts a countdown to 5 mph you won't be able to erase it.

I got a cen-tech model a few years ago. It was $140 @ harbor freight tools... on sale for $100.

I had an action 20 years ago. They've been making them a long time.

What I like about cen-tron is it deciphered the code. Works well
