Change to RV trailer registration requirements in PA

As to the factory Aux Switches, it didn't exactly match the video. I had to dig around the upfitter web site, and found a schematic. I used switch #5, which was in the position described in the video, but the numbering on the plug did not match, and the color code called out in the schematic did not match, but I set it up via the screen and put my VOM on it to verify operation, and it was correct. It's a pretty slick way to power accessories.

Thank you Dave!!

Same as yours as well Ozy???

Waiting for the tribe to finish speaking...

It’s sitting in my cart right now

That's the best one they have at 100% duty cycle. The rest have limited run time unless something has changed over time.

Dave

Ordered it last night, but even though it is Prime it shows 5 day shipping time.....

I think I am going to get the portable version to tote around when traveling. The ARB comes in a hard case, but is more money for <100% duty cycle.

Get one with a tank of some sort. Reserve is everything. I am considering a 5 gallon added to the existing if I can find a place under the truck that would not be a hassle to mount.

Well, just my luck, I took my truck in for the park pin, and cruise control recalls, which involved reflashes. On my way home I realized my Aux 5 switch was not on, as it had been programmed to remember the last setting. Figured I'd get home and reprogram it, EXCEPT when I go to the menu Aux 5 is now missing completely. Arrrrrrrgh.

Well, how do you suppose they managed to do that??

Reach out to sag2 and see if he has heard of that happening after a flash...

I would go unhook the battery and power it down for 30 minutes or so before I did anything else....

I have a voicemail in at the dealer. I'm interested to see how they respond. It also changed all of my preferences in the EVIC back to default, auto-lock etc. It's not a complete disaster, as the circuit will operate manually so my bags are operational, but I have to remember to turn them on. I'll bug sag2 if I have to.

Well, I dropped off the truck yesterday first thing. I waited until about 2:30 PM before trying to get a status report, but couldn't get anybody to call me back after a few tries. I just got a call saying they admit the reflash caused my issue, but they are waiting for engineering to formulate a solution. I'll pick it up this morning and wait to see if there is any follow-up. I doubt my Aux Switch is a high priority at FCA engineering, but we shall see.

Sound like you are in the fast lane for a "Wow, we've never seen that happen before!!!".....o_Oo_O
Already heard that very line at least three times...
I'll wait a few days, and then request it be elevated to a STAR case. I thought long and hard about skipping the recalls, now I wish I had. I'm not too wound up over it, since the circuit is still functional, but it's a matter of principle.

Agreed!!

Still no answer, and another voicemail not responded to today. Now, I am getting pizzed. I emailed Ram customer service with my VIN and pertinent info. I'll wait another day or two, then my politeness may begin to subside...
