HELP - Blew My Intercooler on Vacation

I have been searching and pondering a new head unit for my truck for a while now. First, the cassette took a dump but that’s not a terrible deal, but more recently the CD player won’t eject anymore- that’s something I still use a lot.
I have the RAZ code system with steering wheel controls, and honestly, I think it’s a good sounding system. When it was new I thought it was unbeatable for a pick up truck audio system! As it aged, I would often consider my options. I was always good at throwing together a system either bought locally (RIP Radio Shack!) or through crutchfield, and I usually did well. After a number of years, I was still satisfied with the performance and features of my RAZ system, and I could never find a 100% aftermarket solution that would plug and play, and be reliable. There is always the loss of either the wheel controls, or the Infinity amp. There was one module that seemed to be the solution but required a configurator and even that would not guarantee a can bus without faults.
After all this, and not wanting to kill the integrity of the cab, or the bus, I decided to follow advice I got here a while ago. I ordered a refurbished radio from http://1factoryradio.com/ but with a aux input jack nestled by the bass and treble knobs. It wasn’t expensive. I’ll update after the swap.

STOP I have an aftermarket that keeps both, steering wheel controls and the amplifier.

TOO LATE! I got the RAZ radio with the aux in Jack from 1factoryradio, and while the aux works pretty good, the CD started fouling up. A call to them and they’re sending me another one. If this one is not a winner, I will demand a refund, and then I’ll reasses the situation, and I’ll reach out to you Ozy.

Okay, get rid of that old thingy.
Like I wanted bluetooth ability for streaming music, mobil phone and so on. cassette and CD seems like a century ago. even even cable with aux jack is gone.

I agreed to one more chance. We’ll see. I don’t mind the cable. I like playing music and talking on he phone through it.
I was perfectly happy with the system as it was. I was hoping to get another winner like I had since it was new till recently.

First of all - use a High End Brand like Pioneer or Kenwood or so.
Because the OEM is High End to, you won't get a decent sound with some cheap tuners.
and I wanted the rearview camera to.

First me I use Pioneer, a double DIN https://www.pioneer-car.eu/de/de/products/avh-x490dab
pretty expensive but I wanted this because of the good sound and the self adjusting equalizer.

I was a PITA to install it because the Dashpart I bought is to small for the head unit.
If you want a fast install then go with a single DIN Unit.

For the connection harness you need the AXXESS CHTO-02 https://axxessinterfaces.com/product/CHTO-02

and the Steering wheel control unit ASWC-1 https://axxessinterfaces.com/product/ASWC-1

They are easy to set up and works perfect, just do the install and first run exactly according to the manual.

I'm very happy now with my stereo.
