I've been using my Samsung Galaxy 8 via the USB connection to make calls, receive calls, and make and receive texts. It was working great. Now it doesn't. Whether I specify CALL X, TEXT X, or ask a question it gives me the "Something went wrong, please try again" message. I recently downloaded the Amazon music app so I thought that might be causing the problem. Deleted that but still the same. Any suggestions? I don't think I changed anything else, at least not on purpose.

Well, it magically fixed itself. Or I'm just a damn good fixer of things that I don't really understand!

I know this is kind of an old thread but is your phone connected via Bluetooth or the cable? I'm not sure you really need the cable just enable Bluetooth and pair. Glad your problem is resolved.

Cheers

I can connect via Bluetooth but can only call and receive calls and texts. I can send prerecorded texts. Via the cable I can do calls, internet queries, music via Pandora etc., Google Maps (which I like better than the UConnect), text both ways. It's only done the "something went wrong" thing that one time. Love electronics!
