I've always liked Chevy, I think they missed the mark on looks this go around though...to Ford looking. A 10 speed allison would be great. Chevy has fallen way short on the tow ratings though, I did not see what tow ratings of the new trucks would be but they have stated in recent past that they felt their tow ratings were in the ream they wanted them to be. They didnt feel private truck customers needed tow ratings beyond what they were offering.
I have been a Cummins man for a long time and I think RAM interior has come a long way. Cant wait to see the new RAM when it finally comes out. No EGR and at least an 8 speed trans would be great ...let me hold my breath

I can't tell the new 1/2 ton GM trucks from the new 1/2 ton RAM trucks when viewing the side profiles, I'm not kidding...I really can't.

Went by the GM dealer the other night and wondered why they had a new RAM sitting there out front.....then noticed it was a GMC.....

I'll be interested to see if they have changed to location of the DEF tank and made the cab any larger. I've rented a few Silverados over the last year or so and I've found it to be extremely tight for me between the door and the center console.

To me that is one hideous looking truck, others may like it but when I look at it from the front end it is truly repellent. Don't see myself knocking down the door to buy one, but I would be most interested to see the innards of the 10-speed Allison and how rugged it is.

Wondering how much these beasts will cost. With current diesel heavy duty trucks often stickering over $80K, could this be the $90K Chevy truck? Add a radio, and it might be $100K.

MT cites the Chevy designer as saying that "they set out to make a statement...heavy machinery. What MT failed to mention was that full sized LEGO blocks were used in the design studio instead of sculpting clay.

Too "bricky" for me.

I like the looks of the Big Boy Trucks, but the pickup is really homely. The IH version's grill is too big.

All they need to do is move that chrome Chevrolet badge down to the center of the grill. Put 2 of the black plastic rows of fins above it and 2 below. Move the turn signals either below the quad headlights or split the middle of them like Ford does and you would have a decent look.

Why are all of these new grills so huge? I understand the need for cooling, but enough is enough already.
Because Dodge started it in 94 and it’s gotten crazier every year. Ford has been the leader in rediculous front grills, that is until the new Chevy. Ford was so impressed with Dodge in 94, they changed their grills in mid year from the ugly sloping hood trucks In 93 for MY 94. Every now and again, you see one in the 250/350 version.

Not that I want one right now , but I have been told that you cannot buy a 3/4 ton Chevy/GMC with a gas engine???? anyone know?
