We travel all over the country and would like to know where we can get our truck serviced reliably.
We do not have anyplace to work on our truck ourselves. We have just a travel trailer, our truck, our dogs, and a lot of fun.
We are presently in San Marcos TX, between Austin and San Antonio. We need minor work done and would like to see where other members of this forum get their truck serviced reliably by people who know diesels.
We are frustrated with mechanics who do not understand the Cummins at all and give us bad advice (ignore the ABS light - just a sender gone bad) that cost us money or cannot even connect a wire.
We started with advertisers in TDR (of course) but the nearest is a full day's drive away.
A place to share such reliable repair centers would be very useful.
