Wheel hop at 45

My truck had a vibration issue at higher speeds. 4 mechanics couldn't diagnose the issue. I even went as far as putting a video camera under truck in different locations to see if I could see anything but didn't. Someone suggested having the tires tested on a roadforce machine and sure enough my front right tire had busted belts with no visible signs even. Scrapped the BFG's and issue was gone.

Bill, Not many folks know of "road force balancing" and unfortunately not many shops have this equipment (at least near me). I found one shop near me and up until they failed to notice a blown CV boot on my wife's car (while they were balancing the tires) I used them exclusively. Now...I'm hunting for another shop with road force equipment.

I'd guess it's only the "bigger" outfits that may have them. I had went to a Goodyear service center.. charged me $40 if I recall.

Was $40 to check both front. To me was well worth it after no conclusions from 4 mechanics and months of not knowing.
