I might make it in on Tuesday. In Kearney NE tonight. I was just east of Rock Springs Wyoming last night. I don't know how cold it got but the furnace ran about three times an hour all night long. Woke up to the CO2 detector going off. Forgot to open a window. the Rest of the Story could have been the end of the story!

Wow!!
My CO2 detector went South several years back and I was not long in ordering a new one..it went about 8 years and then started singing its death song..

But you may have an issue, we stay in ours a week in October with nights in the 30’s and never have gotten an alert with furnace running and windows closed

I would inspect the furnace intake and exhaust connection very closely...both on the external fixture and on the furnace itself.

And your camper may be better sealed than mine, being a 2004 I’m pretty sure mine does an air exchange all by itself....:D

I hope you guy's are doing better than me. Broke a leaf spring on the 5ver on wonderful I-25 in Colorado, dang I hate I-25.

Yes the one that bolts to the shackle. Good Sam ERS had a trucking company come out, BIG MISTAKE. All started about 8:30am with make, model ,year. A guy finally shows up about 3:30, gets the vin, takes measurements say's he will be back when they find a spring. He measures the broken spring cntr to cntr (Duh). After he leaves I crawled under and measured an unbroken spring 25 1/4. His was 26 1/2. Called him and told him the measurement. Now it is 4:30pm so I do an internet search and locate a spring. Call their office and tell them where they can get one. They say that's who they are dealing with and said they do not have any. I told them they have two in stock. So they finally get the spring and one hour later it is installed. These are 3 leaf 25 1/4 springs at the RV place they cost $34.00. Wonder what this bill will be. Told the wife I could have driven there bought the spring and would have had it installed by noon. She tells me I can't do a lot of this stuff anymore. Now she will see what kind of dim wits we will have to deal with when I truly can't.

Just think positive Dave . all your bad luck paves the way for safe passage for everyone else on the roads in the coming days :oops:

I'm sorry your having such a time. If you were a little further north into Cheyenne/Laramie I could put you in contact with some peeps. As usual, you've got things under control.

Did you at least make it somewhere off the freeway?

We limped into the RV park, no idea how long I drove with that thing broken. Luckily it broke at the axle on the front axle so the tires did not kiss. It was mainly a problem with the porpoising that goes on a lot on I-25 and any bridge approaches and exits. I did smell hot wood and the black fabric was worn through.

Went into Detroit today, took Sandy to Slow’s BBQ on Michigan Ave....Corktown.
I go there every time I’m in Detroit, never disappoints.
Hung around the GM RENCEN, also went over to Greektown.
Got some nice pictures of my RAM parked in front of the CHEVY logo on the RENCEN...

I went from 4 leaf to 5 leaf, what a major improvement!!!
Stopped a lot of the bobbing. Plus installed greasable pins and bushings..

I’m also joining the cummins caravan with a buddy and brother in law.

Spent a week and a half after work during the evenings working on my truck and both weekends.

Had a huge boo boo happened 2 weeks ago.

My faithful Cummins apparently didn’t like the neighbour’s shed across the road from my driveway.

I was in the house having a snack when I’m asked why my truck is parked inside the shed with the hood up.o_O

Somehow it popped out of gear and did a slow roll across the road.

8,200 lbs sure push hard even at slow speeds.

Now I have neighbours that jokingly say I’m the biggest parking violator in town. Lol

While most people park across someone’s driveway and get told to move, I’m told I park inside other people’s shed and don’t even put the door up.....

Oops. Looks like the door needed a little upgrade anyway. I had a flat on the trailer this morning, wasted an hour finding out they would not repair it. Put the spare on, stopped at Wal-Mart and picked up a plug kit, popped it in, aired it up and hit the road again. In Davenport tonight camped on the Mississippi. Easy drive in tomorrow assuming nothing else slows me down. Hopefully they have a space as I reserved from Wednesday. I'll call in the morning.

We are in Coldwater Michigan for the night. Just finishing a nice meal at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Will come down in the morning with the Ontario crew....

Were headed out first thing in the am. Got the garden in and orchard sprayed while mother nature took a break from the torrential rains :(

The weather man had an interesting tidbit last night. This weekend marked the first 4 day stretch of no measurable precipitation since the 2nd week of December. Thats 6 months for those not keeping score. Hopefully the garden is still here when we get back, things have Been a real mess this year.
