Attorney general livid about Epstein’s death

GROW A SET!!

The Longhorn in Bangor has yet to serve me a less than a first class meal.

But went to one in Charlotte NC and was disappointed with the food and service. All depends on who is managing it I’m sure...

Or Texas Roadhouse...

I’d forgotten about them. I’ve only been once. Having reached semi elderly status they were needlessly loud in my opinion. Kind of spoiled an otherwise fine meal. As you’ve pointed out, with franchises, a lot depends on local management. My Longhorn turns out dependably good food and service.

The reason I asked about the peanuts on the floor is that one of my daughters has that allergy to them. Normally, she doesn't have any issue being around them as long as she doesn't ingest them. But, having those shells around and the dust over the tables and floors is probably not something she would be comfortable with chancing.

We get the best steaks AT HOME,

but Texas Roadhouse is a great second! Last few times we were there though, no peanuts. Wonder if they decided to quit them?

Yes sir! Med Rare Ribeye. This is actually a pic I took while camping. Sent it to BIL to show we don't suffer on the road.

Cheers, Ron

IT-S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE!

Thanks to the terrorists. I've been flying lately and listen to complaints but I'd rather do what's needed to help curb the proposition of spiraling into the ground. The idea that FAT FOLKS feel that they are being singled out THEY SHOULD BE I dont like sharing half of my seat for them. I've been using my perk I'd boarding 1st with my prosthetic taken apart and in my bag, I was feeling bad about it but the front row seats have more room & 1st on 1st off is something that I kind of feel I've earned over the years by not taking advantage of it sooner.

Has anyone ever chartered a plane? I wonder if security procedures etc. are the same as flying commercial?

I know that it wouldn't be feasible for just individuals flying somewhere. But as a business like Mike just did, I wonder what it would cost? Before my father retired from Westinghouse, they would often travel by small plane, especially if there was a group going somewhere.

If I can't fly it or drive it, most likely, I'm not going. Just too much of a hassle in this day of; unruly PAX, complainers, it's too hot..it's too cold etc. ad naseum.

My flying for business is coming to an end, I turned 66 in July Penny said that I'm going to be a "Certified Senior Citizen" when I start collecting my Social Security in a couple months. We are planning another trip to France next July to follow the Tour De France like we did once before. Lufthansa Airlines is the way to go EXCELLENT safety record, customer satisfaction and JUST A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE Last time we used them flying to Germany.

My wife want's to go on another Alaskan cruise next year since this will be our 50th wedding anniversary. I said OK lets pull the trailer to Seattle WA or Vancouver BC. than board the cruise ship. She said no-way to far to travel with the trailer and where would we store the truck and trailer. She wants to fly, me no-way on flying, I will probably lose this one!

amhs

Look into this option some of the ships can load your entire rig and let you off in several locals. We were thinking of this option after seeing what CAN happen to your rig traveling the paved road. Worth a look anyway, I hope this is a good link I'm kind of busy but took COFFEE BREAK and seen your post
