I’ve never heard this. Ever. Perfectly silent.

I can’t recall if it tells me load is too light. It’s been a minute since I’ve tried Alt.

I have to have the radio off, and the windows down to hear it consistently. But it’s been there every time I’ve listened for it.

This is the payload message I get.

When we hooked up to the trailer the rear of the truck went down a couple of inches and never came back up to normal ride height and the light came on in a few minutes I hope that is the only problem and I thought they would at least have given me a loaner car or something.

But yeah the ride height stayed down a couple of inches just like a normal spring ride truck I guess??????

The adaptive cruise is worth the money in accidents that did not happen at least to me it keeps you a certain distance from others you are following and I have a tendency to follow too close.

Adaptive Cruise

Forward Collision Warning

My 2018 Toyota Highlander has this, and yes its awesome, UNTIL you get behind a car that desides to slow down slowly. After a long period someone passes you by and you look down to see your going 10MPH slower while following it. Its definitely a learning curve.

Yes that happened the other day and I was doing like 60 in a 70 soon but its funny when you put on your left blinker it speeds up to the speed you had it set at, now I dont know much about the forward collision warning but I have not needed it so far or it has not gone off.

Oh if anybody wants the MORRIDE pin box its for sale let me know its on the ground in the photo.

Make me an offer on it and come and get it its in Danville Virginia.

You'll really like the adaptive cruise/forward collision when it thinks the oncoming dump truck in the other lane or guardrail at a corner is impending doom. And don't let a hailstone or rock take out that Highlander grille emblem;)

You can go up to any 18 wheeler at any truckstop and disengage the fifth wheel with a simple tug and wham its got to be fixed up and you drive off after the glad hands slingshot on the back of the cab.

If you want to find something negative about the truck or the Andersen hitch its quite easy otherwise keep it to yourself and as my DEAR DAD USED TO SAY IF YOU DONT HAVE ANYTHING NICE TO SAY S H U T U P.

Forward Collision can be set to 3 different levels, don't know which one is factory.
I use the middle setting.

Love my TriGlide TrailAir pin box!

Curious how do you lock your handle to keep some JackHole from pulling it?

Its a non issue, if someone can't check their hitch, tires, lights etc when hooked to a fifth wheel, then they got more problems to worry about then someone turning the handle on an Andersen or pulling the handle on a fifth wheel hitch. I check the hitch everytime the truck is left unattended, same with the lights. Not everyone is paranoid enough to use four or five padlocks to secure their hitch ,and handle .

I believe you mentioned at one time you wouldn't have a fumoto drain valve because of the possibility someone draining your oil

Steward I told you to thicken the skin a bit! I simply asked you a question "Curious how do you lock your handle to keep some JackHole from pulling it?"

Ok guys the beast is back at my house they fixed the airbag and I will be picking up the fifth wheel tomorrow morning.

The tech put the tires at 49 cold so they should be ok with the almost 3000 pound pin weight, it rides a bit rough but not BRUTAL now I want to see how the Air Ride handles the weight and if it works in a correct manner.
