At the line its way too hard for where I have my coupler and leverage thats why I was having some problems now at 53 psi its more compliant and more active I will see if a few more pounds of air get it to the line.

I took a ride today up to the blue ridge parkway did about 320 miles today and the trailair

in the ultimate 5th wheel connection works fantastic now that I've got the air right thing straightened out and using the air pressure as a qualifier for comfort well now I'm fine now I'm a happy camper literally.

T there were some low trees was some low trees so I decided not to go very much onto the way but yeah interesting day today we put on about 350 miles extra crunchy and we went to Princeton North Carolina which is flat.

hey big Ron know we haven't camped anywhere as of yet but this is on our property here's a picture I just took 5 minutes ago check it out so far it's been really good and the betrayal air is working fantastic it's finally because of the lower pressure working much better everything is working great I usually do about 70 miles an hour about 70 miles per hour on the interstate and I no problem thanks buddy later.

What is the speed rating on your trailer tires? Most but not all trailer tires have a speed rating of 65MPH. Anything over that and the tire is subject to higher heat loads and this could lead to a tire failure. When the tire fails everyone blames the tire failure on the cheap chinse tires.

Luckily more and more trailer tires are coming rated higher than 65 mph, even when they have ST on them. It's about time.

Not that I recommend towing at 80, but the added safety margin of the tires is good for everyone on the road.

As I suspected the pin is rear of axle or directly above it. Per your weight certs, the front axle W/O 5ver, is 5320lbs and with 5ver your only 20lbs over that at 5340lbs. You should have a little more than that on the Steer axle for better stability. The trick is to keep it within the front GAWR and distribute some of the pin weight to front steer axle.

Yes you are correct the Anderson adds nothing to the front axle and basically subtracts nothing to the front axle so it's basically a wash it adds or subtracts so whether that's good or bad who knows but it's been riding very very good over the last few days since I got that are ride working correctly but I hit some bumps in Raleigh North Carolina yesterday on interstate 40 that would have made your hair stand up I mean it was really bad but everybody else was jumping bumping bumping up and down to all right guys so the the rumor is true the Anderson dad's North subtract anything from the way to the front axle and I've got the proof right here on my way ticket and for my way ticket the other day.


SO THE ANDERSEN ADDS NOTHING AND SUBTRACTS NOTHING TO THE FRONT AXLE LOL.

Don’t know the Anderson hitch, but with my SRW its critical. When I get a chance to hitch up my 15K GVWRated 5ver I adjust pin location to maximize my RGAW. To help in distribution as well as keeping pin weight within the rear axle rating, fully loaded for bear.

I believe starting in 2015 (or thereabouts) is when ST tires had to list a speed rating.

It was great talking to you on the phone the other day, a few things were discussed, and it sounds like you are getting it figured out. That Andersen seems to be getting the job done . Sometimes these forums are great, and will help you out, and others times the experts are not quite so expert

The tires are Goodyear Endurance Beast tires they are supposed to be quite good and rated I think to 80 MPH.
