JR, what was changed?
The 19’s went to a canister chassis mounted filter, and IIRC the WIF sensor doesn’t have to come off with the filter.

Socket needed can be 28mm or 1 1/8", both work equally well ! I use a wobbly on top of the socket with about a 12" extension to a long handle ratchet.
I just got this tool from Geno's.
Not sure the WIF portion will work on a 19 thou.

Because the time vrs cost is easier through dealer. Oil change’s are cheap compared to fuel filter replacement, at the dealer."I will be servicing my own fuel filters and give the oil change to the dealer."
Curious why not the oil change?
I would be concerned about the small surface area contact with metal and plastic combined with the slightly over-sized 1 1/8 inch size on the fuel filter side...... If indeed it is the 1 1/8" SAE?

Don't forget to mention it needs to be a six point socket.I'm not concerned, especially since 1 1/8" doesn't appear anywhere on the items webpage.. where did you read that?
This tool is the one that will be in the truck for plugged filter replacement, as it's small.
On the 2013 and newer trucks, there were two plugs....one for the WIF sensor and the other was for the heating element in the separator base.I just noticed in the last picture, it has a female plug without a male plug. What is that for, anybody know?

The above picture puzzles me.....
Looks like the '19's have all the wires in one plug, two of them are a heavier gauge for the heater.

Here’s some pics
FUEL FILTER (CHASSIS MOUNTED) - MOPAR ('19 - '20, 2500/3500/4500/5500 & '20, 1500)

Really sad! I'm betting the RACOR is a better filter and it's $4 less.
