Thanks guys its a rig that was over 20 years in the making and lots of planning and prayers and lots of cash too but it goes up hills like a rocket I wanted to get a truck that could Cruise at 75 all day long if my wife needed to be in a certain area in a certain time to be at a book signing or function.
If you did not Know my wife is a christian author and speaker and we cant drive at 55 LOL.

I will also not be taking it on the Blue Ridge Parkway any more because the trees hang low and hit the AC units all the time I think the Northpoint is 13 feet to the tops of the AC units.

Send me a PM Stuart, if your not comfortable publishing your wife’s name. My wife reads a lot of the Christians books.

Stewart,

Y'all take some really great pics... Is Cynthia and the kiddos driving a chase car to get these shots?

I think you could do a trailer life spread on buying a truck and an RV.

Have fun and many safe miles...

Happy Trails,

Ron

I have a 14 with a 68RFE 342 rears tows 14000 just fine . Has since was new. I did put in a Mag tech pan don't know if it does much but it holds more fluid and looks good when laying under the truck . also took out the thermal control block and replaced it with a non thermal one with bigger pass thrus. I don't run in cold weather so too low transmission temp is not a problem . it also looks good when crawling around under the truck You will have no problems with that set up.Almost forget I have a Mag Tech rear differential cover that also looks good .:):):D

Nope no camping today just drive around and pick people up for Uber lol........................yes we camp but I am testing certain things and getting used to driving the Rig I have also been working on my backing skills which I need to improve a bunch.

I have a silly question guys how hard is it to change the fuel filters the front and the back on the Dodge ram 3500 2019 crew cab dually the local place wants $120 in labor just labor to replace those two fuel filters they say they're very hard to get to is this true or is this false what's going on let me know because I think that's crazy that's a lot of money but then again it is a $78,000 truck??????¿¿????¿

I haven’t looked into that on my 2019 3500 SRW yet, but if it’s like the 2014 I drove, piece of cake. I’d recommend a special tool for the front, but you can use basic tools, not much of a mess either.

To do the secondary fuel filter mounted on the engine, drivers side near the cowl you need a 28mm socket and an assortment of extensions and ratchet. A wobble extension or universal helps as you can not get exactly straight over the filter canister. I also recommend torquing the lid to the recommended specs unless you have a good feel for how tight things are. The threads are plastic and while not easily stripped it is possible to gall them up if overtightened during assembly. Make sure it is started by hand, fine threads cross up easier.

The primary filter is mounted under the truck near the bottom of the bed. If you aren't careful you will take a fuel bath on that one as you are working overhead. I stuff a length of rubber hose on the drain at the bottom of the water separator, open it up and let it drain into a pan. Then you simply need a strap wrench to break the filter loose. On my truck the water in fuel sensor is located on the bottom of the filter and needs removed and installed on the new filter, I think I remember seeing that has changed on the 19 when I went to the rally in June. This would be a good thing.
