A few weeks ago I had all four tires replaced. As I drove away from the tire shop my TPMS MIL activated on. Back to the shop after a 20 minute drive to see if the TPMS would reset. The front passenger side and rear drivers side reset, the other two did not reset. The shop guy metered all the sensors and found the front drivers side not reading, the others were reading okay on his meter. The front drivers side was broken from the tire installation and replaced. They said the rear sensor was good and said to drive the truck at speeds above 30 mph and wait 24 hours for a reset. The front reset after a few miles , but the rear did not. Back to the shop again, they replaced the rear sensor. After more driving around and waiting for another 24 hours, it never reset. I went back to the tire shop, they once again metered the sensor and said it must be the truck. Sounds like bullshat to me.
Weird thing is my Uconnect phone app reads the pressure of all four tires correctly. I deflated the tire to 0 psi then inflated back to 77 psi. Still no reset.
I'm done with dealing with the tire shop, they are no help at this point. I am wondering if the non oem sensor replacement it the issue or if you guys know if there is an additional trick to get this to reset back to normal.
