PSA's electric vehicles is one reason. "Massive cost savings" (ie massive RIF) is another.Columbo,
Uh just one more question if you don't mind. Just why did you guys do that? Was there any money involved?
Control is what matters and it sounds like PSA wants and will get the control. DCX deja vu ::falcepalm::Its NOT French! They are smaller then we are, half the size of FCA.

I hope they don't mess with Jeep. They will probably rebage some tiny pos European vehicle to try to capitalize on the Jeep brand recognition. There was a worrisome statement from a PSA talking head on the news the other night about bringing something to the table to improve the Jeep brand, nothing specific, but typical of takeovers where arrogance and ignorance "fix" what wasn't broken. What about Jeep?
The deal will not be finalized for 12 to 15 months. Don't expect much before then. That's what say now wait until mid-year and we enter downturn in our economy then we see what happens.
If the 2020's were being built back in the US as they said they would be I most likely would be ordering one.
No you wont, wait till the 8th Speed is out so you can test drive it.![]()
