Hi everyone. I am pretty new to the diesel world. I have a 2014 Ram 2500 with the 6.7. 58,000 miles on it. I am having issues with exhaust system. I am thinking about a tune and delete but not sure. Is this a good idea and what is the best tuner. Thanks in advance.

What problems are you having? Deleting a diesel truck these days comes with a whole new truckload of issues and headaches with you as the only one that gets figure them out.

Can you retrieve the codes from the truck? What about getting it to your dealer? Could be as simple as bad DEF fluid or clogged DEF injector.

The dealer is my next move. I have read and heard bad things about the dealerships. some people say 5 to 6 grand to do repairs

So it seems those are related to both poor/bad DEF and/or clogged injector.

I would drain, clean, and refill DEF tank. Then I would remove the DEF injector and clean it.

Here's a video for an ECO diesel, but the injector and procedure is the same.

This guy has an excellent channel (but slow at times LOL ). Here's a video that explains how to drain the DEF tank.
