Thats Great! The Costco's around me dont stock DEF, Im in southern Ca and went to the Montclair and the Victorville stores........ I better inform them to start stocking it!For those interested , ran across Peak DEF at Costco today for 9.99 per jug. Date was 21359, just a month old . Now if the Mopar fuel filters would go on sale again on Amazon for $70-75 for the pair , its been like what a couple years since ??

Not saying a bad batch of packaged DEF is impossible, but the stuff is made in large batches, so, tampering and date code aside, there would be a ton of people with issues from that batch. Like when we were in the paint business, Benjamin Moore's Newark plant had a batch capacity of 10,000 gallons. Someone who had not followed instructions, and/or completely skipped the cleaning and prep stage would come in saying, "I got a bad gallon of paint!". Well, what about the rest of that pallet we sold, and the multiple trailer loads Moores sold out of the same batch with ZERO issues??? GMAB
A special trip to buy DEF just does not make sense. When my gauge gets to 1/2 the next time I am near a WalMart I drop in and buy a box of Peak Blue DEF putting it in right there in the parking lot and let them recycle the box. I look at the date codes of the boxes on the shelf. When traveling with the trailer there are WalMart signs along all of the interstates. In 4.5 years and 63K miles I have never used a pump. SnoKing
I had never heard of a magnet collar so I just looked it up. Sounds like they are rarely used.I was initially suspicious of pumps. But i now use DEF pumps whenever i am near a truck stop and need DEF. First time i didn't know about the magnet shut off and was confused. Now i have the magnet collar and have little trouble with the pumps
I got my EFS card in the mail last week. It's through TSD Logistics and is good at Loves, TA/Petro, Pilot, Flying J, Sapp Brothers, and Road Ranger. TSD keeps 10% of the savings for the service. I drove to Georgia yesterday and used it for the first time. Listed price was $2.69, I paid 2.19. This was at a TA in Spartanburg, SC. I wished I had a bigger tank. Diesel is $3+ where I live....While on the subject of truck stops ,lets go off topic . What are the thoughts on the EFS fuel cards for discounted diesel ?? Not sure I have ever seen them discussed here on this forum ,although several RV forums have had threads on them .

I know I’ve never needed one.
Yep. And remember to take it off when done. SnoKingWell you learn something new everyday, I looked up that magnet collar, I take it you slide it up the filler neck?
