Food Category - Artisan French Rolls!!

I was just talking about this social distancing fuss everyone is making the other day. Nothing different on my end. Does this make me an introvert? :D I'm ok with that label if so. We're on the downhill swing of fire wood cutting season so it's been buisiness as usual anyhow. Get er done before the warm weather gets here. I hate sweating

My youngest son (just turned 15) is managing to keep busy as well.
We drag logs up to our splitting area in the evenings when I get home and cut them to length and he splits and stacks them during the day while I'm at work. It sure does speed the process up. He's turned into a one man wrecking ball when it comes to working. I'm gonna be sad when he has to go back to school!

JR I find your post Great I was working most of the day in my den so I didn't get to hear all the was said on a TV show that my mother-in-law was watching. I did catch the part that people were depressed and with that drinking and eating has increased. This shows the point I've made for at least a dozen years THERE ARE NO FAMILIES ANY MORE just people called families NOT because they ARE!! they are families BY ACCIDENT its JMO that in these families there is NO personal interaction between members, most have forgotten how to sit down and do something as simple as TALK.

I like to think our family is family because WE LIKE EACH OTHER enough to spend time together working, school studies, hobbies. At dinner we all sit at the same table and TALK about what each of us is feeling, Thinking and doing the planning of the next days activities. TV time has gone way down, Video game time has gone down instead reading, exercising. My eldest grandson asked me what I was doing? we sat in front of the computer and for the most part HE GOT WHAT WAS GOING ON and learned some new to him math skills.

JMO AGAIN BUT PEOPLE NEED TO THEIR XXXX IN ONE BAG BEFORE ITS TO LATE.

I'm within an hour of ground zero in NY.
Trying to stay inside.
I'm seeing more NY license plates, which isn't any better than when this stuff isn't happening.
I have my ham license and the local sheriff's dept group of us are getting busy.

Vivian and I did annual (actually two years this time) deck maintenance. Replaced around 16 board feet and we'll add a coat of redwood paint.

Of coarse all activities involve an active game of catch, fetch and tug of war:p:D

Reorganized the rear lean too and moved heavy about 350lbs table from deck to lean too.

Awfully green stuff ya got growing there Mulie Ron :D

Im anti hot weather but I gotta admit I'm excited for spring and some gardening. Love me some fresh veggies :)

We're green almost all year... lawnmower and tractor dont sit too long. As to climate, my arthritis has arthritis, so hot is good:cool:. It was in the 90s this past week. Gonna go set in the swim spa 100° F and soothe these po ole joints.;)

Have fun with Spring and stay'n busy and safe with the virus going on.

Cheers, Ron

Our surroundings are greening up leaves un-folding and the lawn-reseeding I did last sept is coming in FANTASTICALLY!! :D

I ALMOST!! got emotional when we came home from our visit to Costco, we pulled onto the drive to the house & Penny asked me to stop. The day was perfect 65* sunny, she said that she was WRONG!! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: NO NO THAT CANT POSSIBLY BE!!! she even said that the work didn't do anything did a beautiful job. I INSTANTLY put the truck in R and started back out to the road. She asked where are you going? The hospital you HAVE GOT TO HAVE THE VIRUS TO ADMIT YOUR WRONG :D

Ordered a Cyclone Rake to help keep things nicely manicured around the house. The kids asked me about it and wondered WHY? nobody can see it from the HWY that we can't even see  I CAN SEE IT!!

WIRE I like "TREE FACES TOO" :D I have dozens of them adding to the "Tree People" all the time, along the walking path (for me) running path for Penny & our friend Maree. She says the Tree people give her the creeps

Big,

I'll try to remember to take a pic this evening... Vivian has color changing LED spot aimed up from the ground that's pretty cool.

I drug my 35 ton log splitter into the shop a couple days ago...been a couple years since I ran it due to past medical issues. I had forgotten to turn of the ethanol gas when I last used it and it turned to a snot like substance, so found an OEM replacement carb on Ebay. I have the tank off and look to having her running when new carb gets in. I started running pure non ethanol gas a couple years ago, but had missed this one.

Got our Costco fine screen rain guards delivered yesterday that we'll start soon. Have standard type guards on them now, but they get loaded up and stopped up and require cleaning every year. Leaf guard company wanted $5K to install similar and we paid $400. Just going to be double careful on the ladder.

Anyhoo, sharing on the TDR is a good way to stay busy in between recovering from doing projects. Cut the grass Saturday and needs cutting again. I don't mind having beautiful grass year round, Burmuda hybrid in the Summer and winter rye I the two weeks of Winter we get.

Cheers, and stay safe....busy is easy for me.

Ron

Ive been wanting to put a new metal roof on the house. The asphalt shingle roof is 5 years old and still in great shape, talking with the Amish crew building the barn said that now would be a good time to do it. Cut the edges flush with the facia, put on edging & 1x4 treated board around the edge and every 2 ft in the main area of the roof with waterproof foam between each. They were talking about " Leaf/filter"

That's INSANE!!! Hate to ask why it's your "FORMER" method.

I had a neighbor in Commiefornia that had one just a little different in that it used the lug nuts to hold it on. He took some eucalyptus wood and was bragging about how great it was until the wood screw caught a knot in the wood he was splitting and spun around breaking his wrist, forearm and really screwed up the wheel well of his truck. YEP WORKS GREAT!!!!! NEED TO GET ME ONE :D
