Tire Load Range Ratings

Not a good way to begin. I’d be calling them before I even greased the jacks.

I pulled the covers off and the gear set was completely void of grease so I packed them and all is well. I would guess that is/was Pro Series responsibility. The plant did add a dab with the zerk but didn't even reach the gears.

The hydraulic tank only has about 2-3" of fluid and they did not de-rate the gvw tag like I asked. I did measure the hoist mount and it is 18" ahead of center, the Lamar is 6". They both have the 6" cylinder with the scissors frame size in favor of the Lamar.

I called and mentioned the grease, fluid, gvw tag and where is my paper work?? They forgot, so they mailed it..grrr This long distance buying was not a good overall experience. The trailer I have is the second build, the first got lost in PA:eek:

They also changed their build specs and deleted the main frame inside boxing. Mine does not have it. I bet the first one did. The frame is massive so I think that part is ok, I think they are trying to save weight. My tail gate is 13 gauge, my Larmar is 11 gauge, I am butt hurt about that:D

My guess is the factory isn’t used to selling direct ship, hence the lack of dealer prep. Not an excuse but a reason. When you get the de rated sticker, remove the old one using a heat gun. If not, a secondary VOID message will be very hard to get off and will show through the new vin tag.

I agree, along with 20 layoffs at the dealer and all but shutting down the plant. They are only running a few key employees and finishing up some back orders. No new orders at all. There are too many cracks to fall into, with, he said she said. When we were doing the e-mail documents last week I reminded the dealer I need the title application ASAP so I could register it immediately, that then, I wouldn't need a temporary tag, now I don't have either.

I decided to leave the GVW tag as is. I don't think it will mater as long as I stay instate. I will register it for 10,001 and be okay.

I am anxious to tow it with the heavy frame and torsion axles. I think the independent axles will disturb the frame less and help control the bucking you get with some load placement and road conditions. The bigger wider tires will also help some with flotation. I need to get some 2x8's and build a short side board.

I don't know where all this virus thing is going. I have a parcel coming UPS from the dealer, was scheduled for delivery Friday, then change to Monday, now it is on hold till who knows when....they don't know.

If you're in a jam for it before the paperwork comes, I think you can print a 3 day permit off the Service Arizona web site for $1, Nick.

Thanks Tom! Never even give that a thought. I see a 90 day for $15 but not a 3 day. The $15 is cheap tho, I will call the 3rd party that I use and see. Maybe I was in the wrong area, I went to ADOT.

Edit: I went to the Service Arizona site like I was told:p and yup, 3 day or 30 are available.

The site says I can't because they don't recognize the ID number, that I need to go to MVD or third party. I will call them at 0800.

Hopefully 3rd party, as they generally try to get stuff done vs the state office's two standard replies: 1) You did this wrong 2) It can't be done.

Wow - so true. 30 years ago I had a terrible time at the DMV in Maricopa county. Short story - bought a car and found it had a fraudulent title. Went to DMV and they said they couldn't tell me who owned the car, but I'd have to contact the current registered owners to get them to sign off on the car....hmmmm YUP - gooberment at it's finest!

Yup, Desert Title fixed me up with a 90 day permit, same price as 30 day. Thanks again Tom! Yes, the DMV is all about arrogant "tude", I avoid them like the virus:)

This is what UPS says....weird.

"The status of your package has changed.

Exception Reason: Due to global health events beyond our control, your package is being held for delivery at a later date.
Exception Resolution: End of message "

I’m diggin the dual batteries.

I already like the gravity down feature.

Had a really nice '84 IHC flatbed dump, pickup 9 yards of cinders, yesterday. Well, it was nice, until he told me it had a 6.9 and 4spd auto:D He wants another load next week and wants me to bring a load because I have the spreader gate and he don't.
