Lost drive shaft ctr support bearing

Injector? Very high temp suddenly

I have a 1999 dodge 2500 with the cummins. The blend door door is not working. I have removed the actuator and tested it and it does work. But I am not getting any power to the actuator plug. Everything else works blower, duct selection etc... also I checked power at the plug to the climate control and had no power when plugged into the switch itself.but when the switch is unplugged whala. Power at the plug . Do you think i have a short in the actual switch for the hot cold?

Do other actuators work? If not blown fuse, could be bad control switch. Try ohming out the wires to the actuator and power to the actuator.

Yes all other actuators work. I've got anew switch ordered. Hopefully once its plugged in it will work. But good idea. Thanks

Well yours is easier to work on then these 3rd genners. I have broken ones to big of a PIA to replace. Good luck

For a quick fix you can install ball valves in your heater core supply/return lines to stop the coolant from circulating through. It's not a permanent fix but something that can be done with basic hardware parts store plumbing if you need the truck now.
