I am looking to retire my '94 3500 from 5th wheel towing duty. I want to go with a 3500 C & C this time. I found a 2018 SRW Cab & Chassis that has the rare configuration I want (4x4 regular cab, black, with the 8.4" touchscreen navigation display), but it is only a SRW model (10k GVWR).
I am willing to swap a C & C dually rear axle assembly into it and buy 6 rims and tires.

What I need to know is if, like my 94 3500 and my 94 2500, the front axle is the same, with the dually adding hub adapters to mount dually rims. Can anyone verify if that is still the case in a 2018 with the AAM front axle?

If the entire front axle must also be swapped, it would be cost prohibitive.

Front axle is the same on both srw and drw trucks.
Thank you for the quick reply!
That's true for the C & C as well as a "regular" 3500 pickup? (I may need to expand my search to include pickups also, but they're even harder to find as regular cabs these days)

3500 CC and 3500 Regular are the same. The differences happen when you go to the 4500/5500 CC.
