"got one dealer to beat Dave Smiths price" Dennis Dillon?

They were saying for some time that 8/6 was last day to order so I ordered mine on the 5th. Estimated completion date is now 9/2. Weird how things seem to be moving.

Great, New truck big difference from 2003 to 2020 Congratulations you will love the new truck may truck last forever!:)

Hope you didn't get the RamBox...... They've been having issues with them warping and stuff. I had to order my 19' cause every single truck I was interested in had ether a RamBox and/or Sunroof... Both of which I did not want. I built mine up with pretty much all the goodies that come with the Limited. Did you get an oversize fuel tank? They did not have that offering for the 19's which caused me to invest in a Titan tank as filling up every 26 gallons was a pain (compared to the 32 gallon fill up my 06 would take).

Congrats and keep us posted!

Did you install the Titan tank yourself or pay someone to do it? Ron(12V98) and I are both think about a work party to do Titan tanks.

Hey Sno... Yep, Had a buddy help me. Pretty easy just cumbersome unless you have a lift and a transmission jack. I just backed up onto my 12" high ramps and got to it.

I was told at the end of August would be the last you can order a 2020. Most people think that 2021 models will not have any significant changes. Well I'm sure the price will change as usual ,going up. Our local dealer Siatta Trudeauo actually beat Dave Smith price. It was only by $500. But the beat it to get the sale.

I recently priced a RAM 6.4 gasser from Dave Smith and the best deal they offered worked out to be about 10% off on the options then less whatever RAM FICA was offering at the the time of delivery. That could be nothing because they are offering 72 month no finance charge. I would be paying cash. So a 62K truck would be 58K and then the travel cost there along with CA taxes added and horrible license fees. Doesn't seem as tho the deals are out there and I could likely do just as well locally. I got over 9K off MSRP my 14 truck. Waiting for now to see what happens when they get hungry.

Dave Smith is like the new 10 speed Allison transmission, "in name only" as he sold it a few years ago, and the deals are no longer! Dennis Dillon has been beating them in the new "in name only" era.

Ownership. In April 2015, Dave Smith Motors was acquired by RFJ Auto Partners Inc. of Plano, Texas. While on a family vacation in April 1994, Smith died in a snorkeling accident in the Caribbean Sea near Belize at age 58.

SCRU Dave Smith!!! Used to be a GREAT place. The sales gal made a deal with my Dad then some joker gets on the line and tells him he doesn't even want my Dads 12 DRW LongHorn. "Can't sell a 2wd truck"
