My truck is old but only 106,000 Wyoming summertime/fall miles on it.
Yesterday coming back (empty) from hunting the transmission acted up. Stopped checked fluid full and bright red (new at 50,000).
So set in D it starts out in 1st, shift to second and stay there. If you accelerate with the throttle it goes into N.
It is of course the infamous 48 but i have it gauged and added the big Aluminum pan from Genos. Towning a 3 horse slant about 25% of the time.
Before I hand it over to local MOPAR (pretty good) I'd like some idea of what I'm facing and what are my options.
Thanks !
