I need your advise on electric winch

I have an old manual winch, but I want to obsolete it for an electric winch.
Could you please recommend to me a small 4500 LBS electric winch?

While I don't have that much experience with different brands of winches my Can Am came with a Warn Provantage 3500 and so far so good after a few years still working good. Warn does not appear to still make that model/line but now Can Am's can come with the Warn VRX line.

A quick look at Warns website shows the VRX and the Axon lines are the lines they have these days in that size. Many many years ago I had a big warn on a 74 Chevy 4x4 truck that always worked when I needed it but been so long I don't remember the name of it but that was from back in the 70's and is surely no longer around anyway and was much larger than the size you are looking at.

However IH8Cali brings up a good point. If it is for use out in the weeds vs something being hooked on a trailer to pull loads up or a boat. How much use expected etc I might go with a cheap one if trailer and infrequent use whereas a sxs out in the middle of nowhere I would probably spend more on a good name brand with proven track record. Cheap ones can be had for 1/3 the price of a good name brand one.

I have run Viper winches on my ATVs since they first came out in the early 2000's. Main use is plowing 3 houses out in the winter. For context we avg 100+ inches a year. It gets a workout. I bought one from a local dealer when they first came out at a good discount. The First winch on my Honda lasted 14 years with almost zero maintenance - I had it apart twice to clean and grease the planetaries. Replaced that with another Viper and have one other. They are very reliable and have made improvements over the years including being IP67 rated.

You can try imeshbean 12V winch. I bought one from them, and it perfectly works so far.

Many brands are actually made in China so you should also look at Harbor Freight.

Generally I find his videos and reviews fair and informative.

I second this, a medium priced China winch is as good as the name brands made in the same factory.

Cummins has parts made all over the world but that doesn't mean what they have made in 3rd world countries are junk. Warn has parts made in China and some of their complete models are assembled there, but I wouldn't bank on the quality being as poor as with say a Bad Lands, which I also own in a 12k set up on my tilt deck. For as often as I use it it does ok, but it also does not set out in the weather nor does it ever get submerged in the mud and water. The difference in quality between it and my two Vipers is very noticeable.

NOT disputing what you are saying, but I believe that the Badlands winch in the review I posted is a new release. It has an ISX rating of 9x and seems to be very well sealed...did you watch the video yet??

Seafish I did, and honestly I am not familiar with the specifics of IPX 9x. Doing a quick search it says the test is performed using high pressure water at ambient temp at a rate of 150 gph for a duration of 3 minutes. I really don't know how that compares to IP67 which is performed at a depth of 1meter at a minimum of 30 minutes. Viper winches (my link above) are IP67 rated. It would be interesting to see how those tests compare to one another.
