Got my new 3500 SRW back in june, running great...
Now that its cold, I`m having some issues with the push to start stuff, had a 16 prior (with a key) that was easy and predictable for the grid heaters.
Sometimes when I hold the brake pedal and hit the button once, the grid heaters will fire, I wait for the time-out, and then I have to hit the button again. (i wish it would just auto start at the end of the timeout). Sometimes tho (bout 30%), if I hit the brake, then button once, it starts immediately, and I can tell it aint happy. Ive been careful to push the button only once quickly... What am I missing?
Also gotta say the tailgate actuator instead of an actual handle with linkage _sucks_. I usually have to hit it 2-3x and jiggle the whole gate to get it to open. I do have an appt with the dealer for the grid heater recall this thurs, so questions will be asked.
thanks for any info
