I have had the truck since new and have lived with both the speedo and the TPMS light issue
The AlphaOBD should take care of your issues there. My youngest son had similar "fixin's" needed for his 2018 Power Wagon. AlphaOBD to the rescue! He had a "code" issue for one of his vehicles which required a different "cable" thingy. He fits right in with the current crowd. I'm just an analog man in a digital world. (Thank you Joe Walsh) ;) Carb jetting, distributor advance curves, port-n-polish, gears-n-grease, better breathing, better exhausting...just the little things a nuke or static charge or poor program won't take out, and a rubber band, stick of gum or piece of wire would get you back to civilization. :D

So I received my andriod tablet along with the dongle. I went to download AlphaOBD and all they list is AlphaOBD Demo, am i missing something here?

comrade- this was several years ago, so i might be wrong. the demo is free. you have to go to the google play store to buy the app. i paid through/via the google and then the " real " version appeared on my tablet after it was downloaded. on my desktop, there are still 2 versions today. the free one and the paid for one. i hope this helps. cheers. :)

From the Google Play store READ MORE section of the app:

To do:
  • Fixing/Diagnosis immobilizer chain.
  • Replace, matching or reflash vehicle ECUs.
  • configure or reconfigure vehicle.
  • access special functions.
  • program and adding keys.

The CHRYSLER PIN PULLER is the cheapest, reliable and easy to use tool on today's market!Designed to pull pin codes from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and some Fiats, Maserati, vehicles!

All major models are supported from 2005 - 2014(16).

Pulls PIN out of vehicle through OBD via an ELM327 Bluetooth compatible adapter.

It is a token based app!!! Buy tokens through an app purchase which get stored in your account, then spend them on different app functions which are priced differently. This prices of the app functions may vary from time to time. The PIN PULL comes free to download with small amount of tokens just enough to test it once it's real work on vehicle. Then buy it if you like it for the budget you willing to spend at the moment...

*** You have to have a strong INTERNET connection in order to operate it without any problems ***

So the Chrysler pin puller is a stand alone program? I thought that Alphaobd also pulled the pin?
Yes, it should, so you shouldn't need the pin puller app, just the AlphaOBD. I was checking the apps on Google Play and ran across the CPP notes and my old brain crossed the similarities in posts #2, #4 and #24. I R A dork, just ask my wife.:p

LOL I think most of us have that T shirt... I appreciate you taking the time to post it anyway. I finally got (bought) AlphaOBD on my tablet, a bit of a pain because it is a Amazon Fire 10 so its kind of "Android light". I am going to give it a try probably tomorrow.

Wait a minute...Eleven...ELEVEN...You have ELEVEN sweet Mopars??? I don't believe you! ;) I must see them to believe it - and I'm not from Missouri...please...Promise I'll maintain a six-foot distance and not drool or breath on the paint. I'll even wear sunglasses when I look to tone down the intensity of my stare. Maybe just a little touch (heavy caress) or listen to the aural delight of the 56 Hemi engine??? :):) Sorry, my exuberance overcame me.:( :D

@70chall440 ,AlfaOBD will pull pin for you. Make sure the first thing you do is save a config file and then print out for future reference on changes that act funky or don't work! When you make changes, do one at a time and allow time for the computer to process it. Chrysler pin puller has you buy tokens to get the pin code! Once you have Alfa, no more nickel and dime and you can help anyone that it supports! It's a great tool for your tool box!

Thank you for the information, I am going to attempt it today I think.

Yeah its a bit of an addiction... :(
Unfortunately (?) I didn't get into the collection of stuff stage, thinking I could pick it up later, probably a little cheaper. Little did I know that rust became more valuable than gold in such a short time...plus my wife got heavily into artsy-crapsy and quilting stuff that put my car stuff costs to shame. I had my fun era, let her have hers. So far, she's kept me for going on 50 years. AND, Mopar is genetic. My 3 sons are all Mopar fan(atic)s. The youngest and his wife (avid and intense Mopar lady) have had a few "Hellcat Red Eyes" over time. Currently tamed down to a Power Wagon and a 20 Challenger Scat Pack, awaiting the last year of the Hellcat Red Eye coming up, then grab a loaded one. That's HER plan. She's so sweet and dainty. :)

Thats awesome! I thought about getting a Hellcat but I would have to sell off some of the other stuff which I am not willing to do (at least now). I do love my Mopar's to be sure and the offer is there if you are ever around here to come and look at the cars in person. I love talking about the cars as much as working on them... LOL.

So the next thing I have to decide is what pressure to put into the truck, I am running 35x12.5R17s on the truck which are Nitto Trail Grabbers and list a max of 65 psi. I know that I really need to do a chalk test to determine the best psi for full contact but I am not doing that now, so I am thinking 60 psi might be what I use.

Weights are based on TRA load table ratings. Axle weights are base on my 2018 DRW.

Your front axle weight is about 5660 which equals a tire load of 2830. A 35X12.5R17 makes 2830 with 45 PSI so I would run 50-55 on the front.

Your unloaded rear weight will be around 3500 or a tire load of 1750. 1750 can be made with 25 psi so I would run 30-35psi unloaded and 65 loaded so I would set tpms to 30-35.
