Looks like it is broke now. I hadn't used it since it was put in about 6 months or so ago and I tried it now and it didn't work for me either. (Android Version)

I used my tablet/AlphaOBD tonight and was able to pull the pin and reset the TPMS (put in new pressures and turn off the light).

I will admit that there is a learning curve to using it but it isn't all that bad. The first time I tried to enter the pin it said "system failed" (or maybe procedure failed). I was getting a little anxious because I thought I might have jacked it up some but I discovered that the key was not in the RUN position (which is said right on the screen). I went through all the steps again ensuring that I was in the RUN position and it took. Also, I had to drive the vehicle for the light to go out (which I knew I'd have to do).

Tomorrow I will tackle the speedo issue.

Do your guys backup cameras show lines? I retrofitted my truck with a factory backup camera, had a dealer enable the camera but there are no lines, I don't think there ever was but I am not sure now.

Can you go into the settings and find the camera options? Mine (2020 2500 OEM) has a setting to have no guide lines, fixed guide lines or active guide lines. Maybe yours is similar. I'll look into my owner's manual to see if I can locate the how to stuff.

Found this in a 2014 Owner's Manual:

@70chall440 , Sweet rides! Glad that you're over coming the Alfa learning curve. I was able to restore the lines on my camera after trip to dealer and they were gone! I have the active lines which help with backing trailer in tight spot, give idea of how tight wheels are turned! A lot of us use Alfa and there are great resources for it. Just post up and someone should be able to point you in the right direction. Enjoy that truck and I hope Santa brought you some get out of jail cards for the other!

Thanks so much. I have to admit it is a bit scary messing around inside the truck's electronics but so is/was pretty much every other aspect of vehicle building at some point.

Now that you mention it, I think those lines did go away after the last time I took my truck to the dealer for a recall for the tailgate... hmmm I wonder if they jacked something up. I need to get into it and see what's going on if I can. I have to admit that I do like the ability to make changes/repair my truck like I do everything else I own. I have contemplated getting a scanner/tablet for some time but there are so many out there I just never could figure out what to get or how to use it. AlphaOBD has opened some doors for me.

Yeah that yellow Viper can be a ticket magnet although I have never gotten one in it. I did get pulled over once for doing 75 in a 60 but the Hwy Patrol trooper let me go. I have gotten a speeding ticket in my truck and 2 in my 2010 Challenger RT.. lol

The lines are generated from the head unit, not from the camera itself on an OEM installation.
It should be a point in the head units settings page where you can switch them on/off. I wonder if you just need to re-enable them.

@brucejohnson I don't know that I have ever seen the warnings... I will play with it some perhaps today and see what I can figure out. When I got the truck I was a bit upset that it didn't have a backup camera but then again the truck is strange in that it has the towing package but did not have the towing mirrors or backup camera. At that time I was towing a 20' enclosed trailer to Vegas once a year (actually I had bought a 98 3500 diesel to do that but it had a cracked block which is what led me to this truck). The 5.7 is definitely not the Cummins but it does pull hard and since I do not tow very frequently it has worked out (although I am going to CA in Feb to get a car). I do love the truck overall and have been improving it since I bought it. This current effort is just a continuation of the evolution.
