My 2014 has the factory AUX switches along with what's refereed to as aux wiring that runs to back of truck. Question is, when installing the jumper harness into plug under the dash would provide both a hot and ignition switched power wire running to the rear of the truck, has anyone discovered these and where shall I start looking? The reason I'm looking for them is that I'd like to add some extra reverse lighting. If I can find the ignition feed, I'd be able to add relay from tail lights to "new" led reverse lights. Way to cold to be out poking around under the truck in the driveway! Also, what chance of success would I have trying to use a toner to track down these wires? Thanks from any and all help provided.

Easy way would be to use a 10W flood LED that is plenty bright enough and with that wattage in can be wired safely in parallel with the existing factory lights.

Sorry I can not help you with the AUX switches as it would be nice to use them.

Thanks Ozy. Supposedly there are 2 wires that when you install a jumper under dash gives you a hot and switched wire to back of truck. They are not switched thru AUX switches and are supposed to be separate from 7 way trailer wiring. They wiring kit that I got off of Ebay, the seller provided me with wiring diagrams for a 2015 showing wiring. Colors match up to mine and was hoping that someone may have found them. I guess if when warmer or I can find shelter to work in, I'll go on a treasure hunt. I can say that I do like having the AUX switches! Allows for accessories to be installed and switched without drilling and routing wires! Enjoy these trucks!

@John Jensen, Bingo! We have a winner! So glad that you took the time to do the write up. Going to print that out to keep in binder with changes needed for my year! That's what I was trying to find but not sure where to start. If I had an indoor area to work, this probably would have already been accomplished! Next warm, dry spell, I'll drop the spare and start looking in that area for the blunt cut wires. I'm assuming that they'll have a piece of heat shrink over them.(We all know what that means) I know that someone would be able to steer me in the right direction. Thanks John!

Glad I could help. It's a 4 wire harness. Not sure every year terminates in the same place. On my 2016 it was between the bumper and the spare tire and dropping the spare made it easier to find and connect. Here's a wiring diagram that

may also help if you don't have.

@John Jensen I was going to link your write-up, thanks for posting.

Here is the 2014 schematic. For some reason the p/u doesn't show the wires running to the rear of the truck like on the CC trucks, and newer p/u's. Not sure if it's a typo or they aren't there.

I have lights and brackets ready to install and will wire them very similar to John, but I won't be tapping into my OE reverse lights. I want the aux backup lights on the aux switches only.
