HI all well 28k on the clock and squeak coming from front end rt side. Doesn't go away when brakes are applied. Jacked it up spun wheel no sqeak. My front end guy says wheel bearing. Usually rt side as it gets thumped by curbs ect. He says no rhyme or reason sometimes he's replaced same side twice on vehicles. He's anal so uses good stuff. Your recommendations on bearing unit manf. Thanks

12v98 Yes it's an 18. 36mo is up
Bender. Yes thinking on timkin even though manf in China the US presence in the factory stops them from making total junk

As I've said before, all "Made in China" isn't junk and all "Made in USA" isn't golden. I understand AND support not wanting to buy MIC, but they're as capable of making high quality goods as we are, it just costs more for high quality. Same thing here. There's junk made in the US just because it's cheaper.

Timken got split in 2 in 2014 (steel and bearings) due to one of these "Activist Investor" groups, who bought in at $40 a share and sold out 2 years later at $70 a share, thus a 75% increase for those vultures. According to Redhill trading, Timken bearings are built in 33 different countries now. Not sure why they would need 33 countries, but that's what they say. Might be a few still made in U.S. dunno!

Supposedly you can shoot grease in through the ABS sensor hole and make them last longer. Never tried it personally though.
Correct. Several over on CF have received in excess of 300k miles out of their front unit bearings with somewhat regular injecting of blue grease.

I’m wondering if @p-Bar is possibly experiencing a dry front axle u-joint noise instead.

This is the preferred grease....and FULL SIZE pic just for @Cummins12V98

No, OEM front axle u joints are life lubricated, (no maintenance). Many times a squeaky wheel can be the U joint that is dry. Usually makes more noise when turning
