Fass pump

Need part number of injection pump access cover

Just FYI, i just bought Hard Line connections for an AN setup to put a hydraulic filter into the system. The are easily available through Amazon and other independent vendors. So the whole setup is now only made out of AN parts.

Reason for this is a new Valve Body and I want to protect it from every dirt that comes out of the TC.

The AN fittings are the same that are used on the Injection Pump? You used hose instead of hard lines? I like the idea of a filter. I am trying to stay clean while do the job, but it is difficult with the Mineral Oil on the bottom of the vehicle to prevent the Illinois Rust Worm from eating my truck. The stuff works though, four winters of spray on and rock salt and the entire underside of the truck is Black. My Tahoe is Orange down there..

Yeah I've had my '96 since 2015 and if I've seen 12 nice 2nd Gens driving around here since then that's alot. I know of like 5 nice ones.

Unfortunately mines been apart now longer then its been together, so how ever you figure it out and make it work, that's a complete win in my book.

Luckily ATF is pretty nice to clean up, I've spilled more then I have put in the truck that's for sure.

Good luck on the repair, one step at a time.

Got ATF+4 today at O' Reilly, price was right too.

For rust protection, check out Fluid Film.
It's pretty popular with the TDR folks, it's easy to apply and lasts for a season, repeat in Fall, half an hour job with a spray gun. First year into the cavitys too with a spray wand.

I'll post pictures of my filter setup, it's completely homebrew as the kits available I don't like and to expensive anyways.
Spoiler: my filter will be attached to the transmission and not to the chassis.

Sorry man, I just never think of O'Reillys for some reason. It is always Napa, Advance and the dealer.
In Rockford, il. O'Reilly had ten times as much ATF+4 as all the others combined.

I'm going out tonight and cut off the bent line with the Dremel and then spin those push connector around the tubing and try to disconnect them again.

Ugg.. never thought of that. I have a small line cutter at work. I have one at home also, but it is a big one and could not get the line cut all the way around. I will bring one home from work tomorrow. That is good advice, thank you much.
