Water Pump Leak

Sixty dollar question..... Coolant bottles............

I have to source the OE stock air cleaner from Ebay junk yard for my 2005 since the previous owner installed one of those K&N aftermarket gimmicks

What pieces are the complete air cleaner to the turbo? Two elbow pipe sections with clamps and the two piece Air filter box? Are there some baffle type inserts that go inside the pipe section for better flow? I saw a picture of some kind of baffle in the pipe elbow

You could also use a airraid MIT in place of the intake baffle piece. I had one on my 05 and it made a nice difference in low end spool.

When you find the lower 90° elbow, the one that attaches to the turbo, make sure it has the directional vanes in there. I read, many years ago, that it improves turbo efficiency up to 30%.

I would also consider a Home Depot CAI while you’re doing the work.

5 pieces sounds correct.

Dont need/want either of those

You live in Kuna ? I lived in Sand Hollow/Emmet area

Im in Idaho county by the Clearwater river now

Both are great and would make a nice difference on a stock truck. The HD CAI is cheap and easy, if you ever change your mind. The MIT is a solid option if you can’t find an OEM piece. Better/smoother airflow into the turbo, but certainly not needed.

What are your goals for the truck?

We do. Wife was born in Emmett, and we met in Moscow.

I didn't feel any difference with the MIT piece. My lie-o-meter remained the same. Same deal with the Cool Blue hose. I gave them to a friend.

I wouldn’t expect to see any mpg gains, but the boost did come on sooner. Once it was spooled there was no noticeable difference in the cab.
